The Tourist Souvenir Competition has been held annually since 2015 on the initiative of Gennady Shatalov, and includes district stages, regional competitions and a national final. The founders of the competition are FROS Region PR and Consulting-Tour LLC.
The contest is part of the “Russia inspires travel” ecosystem. This is a project that brings together several federal tourism awards, educational projects, and an entire community of tourism industry professionals.
In total, 3568 applications were received for the 2025 contest from authors and manufacturers of tourist souvenirs from 79 regions of Russia, as well as from the Republic of Belarus.
1066 competitive positions from authors and manufacturers of tourist souvenirs from 71 regions of Russia, as well as from the Republic of Belarus, were allowed to participate in the national final. These are the authors of the best products based on the results of the district, regional and city stages of the competition, which took place throughout Russia in 2025.
